How we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use shieldnex.in.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

This policy applies to visitors of shieldnex.in. It is narrow on purpose: it only describes data we actually collect today. If we start collecting new categories (for example when a paid pilot launches), this page will be updated before that collection begins.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by SHIELDNEX AEROSPACE INDIA LLP (“ShieldNex”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a Limited Liability Partnership registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, with its registered office in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, India.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) we are the Data Fiduciary in relation to personal data collected through this site.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only the data listed below. We do not collect Aadhaar or other government ID numbers, plot coordinates, land ownership records, payment card details, or biometric data through this website.

  • Contact form submissions. When you fill in the contact form at /contact, we collect your name, email address, an optional subject line, and the message you send us.
  • Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-ZPKPXD2SK1). It records standard analytics events such as pages viewed, the referring URL, an anonymised approximation of your city or region, and coarse device and browser information. Google Analytics anonymises IP addresses by default.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp, user agent) which are used only to keep the site running securely.

3. Why we collect it (purposes)

We use the data listed above only to:

  • reply to the message you send us and continue that conversation;
  • understand which pages people actually read, so we can improve the site;
  • detect abuse, spam and security incidents on the site;
  • comply with our legal obligations under Indian law, when that becomes necessary.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

4. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form messages that do not lead to a business relationship are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted.
  • Contact threads that become part of a pilot, partnership or customer relationship are retained for the duration of that relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards (typically 3 years) to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
  • Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ default settings (currently 14 months for user- and event-level data) and can be reset by us at any time.
  • Server logs are typically retained for up to 30 days.

You can ask us to delete your data earlier — see Your rights below.

5. Who we share your data with

We share data only with the service providers we need in order to run the site. They act as Data Processors and are contractually bound to use the data only for the purpose we engaged them for.

  • ZeptoMail (Zoho Corporation, India) — delivers your contact form message to our team inbox as an email. Processed in Zoho’s India data centre. See the Zoho privacy policy.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) — processes aggregated usage data for the site. See the Google privacy policy.
  • Our hosting provider — serves the site and stores server logs.

We may also disclose data where we are required to do so by law, court order, or a lawful request from an Indian government authority.

6. International transfers

Contact form messages are delivered through ZeptoMail (Zoho Corporation) and are processed in Zoho’s India data centre, so those messages are not transferred outside India. Some other processors above (notably Google) may store or process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. Where such transfers happen, they are made under those providers’ standard data protection commitments and contractual safeguards. If the Government of India notifies specific countries as restricted destinations under Section 16 of the DPDP Act, we will update our processors accordingly.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses a small number of cookies, primarily set by Google Analytics for measurement (for example _ga and _ga_*). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work without them.

8. Your rights under the DPDP Act

Where you are a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • obtain a summary of the personal data of yours we are processing and the processing activities involved;
  • request correction, completion or updating of your personal data;
  • request erasure of your personal data;
  • withdraw a consent you previously gave us, at any time;
  • nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity;
  • raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see below).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@shieldnex.in. We will respond within a reasonable period, and in any event within the time limits prescribed under the DPDP Act once the corresponding rules are in force.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold, including transport-layer encryption (HTTPS) for all site traffic, access controls on our internal tools, and least-privilege access to production systems. No online service is perfectly secure; if we learn of a personal data breach that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Act.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of any individual under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the site, please contact us at privacy@shieldnex.in and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our processors, or the way the site works. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change would meaningfully affect the data we already hold about you, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
