Terms of Service

The rules that apply when you use the ShieldNex website and, in future, our services.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

These terms govern your use of shieldnex.in. If and when we start offering paid or contracted services (for example a pilot programme), those services will additionally be governed by a separate written agreement that will control over anything on this page in case of conflict.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by SHIELDNEX AEROSPACE INDIA LLP (“ShieldNex”, “we”, “us”), a Limited Liability Partnership registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, with its registered office in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, India.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3. What the site is (and isn't)

Today, shieldnex.in is an informational website that describes our approach to satellite-powered land monitoring and lets you contact us. Any paid product or pilot programme referred to on the site is offered only under a separate written agreement between ShieldNex and the customer.

Nothing on this site is an offer, promise or guarantee to provide any specific service, resolution, or evidentiary outcome.

4. Acceptable use

When you use the site, you agree not to:

  • use the site in a way that violates any applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, our systems, or the accounts of others;
  • upload, submit, or transmit anything unlawful, misleading, harassing, defamatory, or infringing;
  • scrape, crawl, or otherwise systematically extract content from the site without our prior written consent, other than for reasonable indexing by search engines;
  • interfere with the security, integrity or availability of the site.

5. Content and intellectual property

All content on shieldnex.in — including text, graphics, layouts, code, satellite methodology diagrams, and the ShieldNex name and marks — is owned by SHIELDNEX AEROSPACE INDIA LLP or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You may view and share links to pages on the site for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use — including copying, redistributing, modifying, or creating derivative works — requires our prior written consent.

Third-party names and marks referenced on the site (for example ISRO, ESA, NASA, USGS, Cartosat, Sentinel, Landsat, IN-SPACe, DPIIT, StartInUP, and the incubator hosting us) are the property of their respective owners. We refer to them for accuracy; nothing on the site should be read as claiming endorsement by any of those organisations.

6. Messages you send us

If you send us a message through the contact form or by email, you confirm that the information you provide is your own or that you have permission to share it, and that it is not confidential unless you have marked it as such and we have agreed in writing.

We handle those messages in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the site — including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability.

In particular, the site and any documents you download from it are not legal, real-estate, surveying, insurance or investment advice. If you are dealing with a specific land dispute, encroachment matter, or property transaction, you should consult a qualified advocate or professional. Any references to admissibility of evidence in Indian courts describe how our evidence packs are designed to fit the statutory framework (in particular the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000); the actual admissibility and evidentiary weight in any proceeding is determined by the court.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, ShieldNex, its partners, and its representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the site.

Our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to your use of this site shall not exceed INR 10,000 (ten thousand rupees). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.

Where a separate written agreement governs a paid service, the liability terms of that agreement will apply to that service in place of this section.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold ShieldNex, its partners and representatives harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate your access to the site at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, or if we are required to do so by law. The provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply after your access ends.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of India.

Subject to any different dispute resolution mechanism agreed in a separate written agreement between us, the courts at Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh (and the appellate courts having jurisdiction over them) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the site.

13. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent; we may assign ours to any successor entity or in connection with a corporate reorganisation.
